IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON!!!!

My boss gave Erik and myself two free tickets to go to a HUSKY game in Seattle. There was only one catch, we had to sit with the BYU alumni group.
So, here’s the story…On Friday, 09/15/08, at 3:30 p.m. I was closing up the office where I work and ran into Susan, my boss. She and Dr. Burrup (her hubby, and the coolest Dr. where I work) were headed to Seattle for the UW vs. BYU game and had two extra tickets. She completely caught me off guard by asking if Erik and I would like to go. There was not much thought to my answer, I just blurted “YES.” So that was that. We left that night and stayed with Erik’s aunt and uncle in Camano Island (about an hour past Seattle). Then we commuted back to Seattle for the game on Sat. We had so much fun at the game. We sat with the Burrups and about 150 other BYU fans. We were the only two people on that side of the stadium wearing purple and gold. It was definitely an experience. It was so so so cool though. Well, after the game he hung out in Seattle and then went home. If you aren’t a fan of the Huskies when you go to a game, well, you leave one. IT WAS GREAT!!! I will have to say, though, most of the fun for me was just the fans, noise, and Seattle…Not really the football game itself, hahaha. But, yes, this was one of those times that you just remember forever. So spontaneous, so different, and a once in a lifetime dash. No way to explain.
